What we do

Find the problem, then fix it properly

Guessing at drain problems costs money. A camera survey shows the cause and the exact location, so the repair is aimed at the right spot and you only pay for the work that's needed.

CCTV Drain Surveys

We send a waterproof camera through your drains to inspect them from the inside. You see what we see, and we can provide a survey report with footage and our findings.

Drain Repairs

Targeted repairs to cracked, broken, displaced or collapsed pipes. Where a section can't be relined, we excavate and replace it ourselves.

Pipe Relining

A no-dig repair that seals damaged pipes from the inside. We fit patch liners to short damaged sections and full-length liners where a longer run needs renewing.

Signs of a damaged drain

When to book a drain survey

A blockage that clears and stays clear is usually just a blockage. If any of these sound familiar, there's a good chance the pipe itself is damaged and a survey is the next step.

  • Drains that keep blocking after they've been cleared.
  • Bad smells around drains, manholes or inside the property.
  • Damp patches on walls or floors near a drain run.
  • Sunken paving, dips in the lawn or wet ground near a drain.
  • Signs of rats in or around the property.
  • Trees or large shrubs planted close to the drain run.

CCTV drain surveys

See inside your drains

A CCTV drain survey records the condition of your drains from the inside. It picks up cracks, root intrusion, displaced joints, collapses, fat build-up and anything else that's stopping water flowing as it should.

Problem Investigation

For repeat blockages, smells, damp or suspected damage. The survey shows the cause and where it is, so we can recommend the right repair.

Homebuyer Drain Surveys

Buying a property? A drain survey before you complete shows the condition of the drains you're taking on, so there are no costly surprises after you move in.

Insurance Claims

Drain damage is often covered by buildings insurance. Our survey footage and report give your insurer the evidence they need, and we can help you through the claim.

No-dig drain repairs

Drain relining without the excavation

Relining repairs a damaged drain from the inside. A resin-soaked liner is fed into the pipe and cured in place, forming a new, seamless lining that seals cracks, gaps and root entry points.

Because the work is done through existing access points, there's no trench across your garden, patio or driveway. It's usually quicker than digging, and far less disruptive.

Patch Relining

A short liner fitted to a single damaged section, such as a cracked pipe or a joint where roots are getting in.

Full-Length Relining

A continuous liner fitted along a longer run of pipe where damage is spread along its length.

When relining isn't the answer

Excavation where it's needed

Some damage can't be relined, such as a fully collapsed pipe or a section that has lost its shape. In those cases, we excavate down to the problem, replace the damaged section and get the drain working again.

Because we do our own groundworks, you won't be passed on to another contractor. The same team surveys the drain, digs it and repairs it.

Drain Survey & Repair questions

What does a CCTV drain survey show?

expand_circle_down

It shows the inside of your drains, including cracks, root intrusion, displaced joints, collapses and build-up. It also shows where each problem is, so the repair can be targeted to the right spot.

Do I get a report after the survey?

expand_circle_down

Yes. We can provide a survey report with the footage and our findings, which is useful for repairs, insurance claims and house purchases.

Can my drain be repaired without digging?

expand_circle_down

In many cases, yes. Cracks, root intrusion and displaced joints can often be repaired with a patch liner or full-length relining. If the pipe has collapsed or lost its shape, we'll excavate and replace that section.

Should I get a drain survey before buying a house?

expand_circle_down

It's worth considering, especially for older properties or homes with large trees nearby. A survey shows the condition of the drains before you commit, so you know what you're taking on.

Will my insurance cover drain repairs?

expand_circle_down

Drain damage is often covered by buildings insurance, but it depends on your policy. Our survey footage and report give your insurer the evidence they need, and we can help with the claim.

Is the drain my responsibility?

expand_circle_down

As a general rule, a drain that serves only your property and sits within your boundary is your responsibility. Shared drains and public sewers are usually the water company's, which in most of Essex is Anglian Water. A survey can show where the problem is.

What areas do you cover?
